The Heart of Nairobi Attach

It started with a conversation — a mother choosing temporary separation from her children to survive her own breakdown. I listened, and I heard more than exhaustion. I heard the rupture children experience when their emotional anchor disappears.

It brought me back to the children I’ve met over the years — adopted, abandoned, misdiagnosed, misunderstood. Children who learned to survive in environments that never fully saw them.

Nairobi Attach was not built as a business. It was built as a voice.

For the child who has been hurt and cannot say so.

  • For the parent who wants to do better but feels like they’re failing.
  • For the teacher who sees pain but has no tools.
  • For the institutions that hold children daily but do not know how to hold them safely.
We are not here to offer quick fixes. We are here to ask better questions, build braver systems, and offer consistent, relational care.
